If you think this is a copy of KGF or Animal then you are quite wrong. The story is familiar but the plot is different. The first half is fairly good, but the second half after the arrival of Chanchal Chowdhury, the movie kicks into full gear and from that point the movie is 100 out of 100. Shakib Khan's acting has matured enough, dialogue delivery needs more work. Chanchal is the best part of the whole movie. The acting of the rest of them was top notch The movie's post-credit scene was transformed into a full-fledged stadium. The best aspect of the movie is that in mafia movies, the character of the mafia shows a good side where the audience has an emotional soft corner, but here it is all negative, even as a viewer, you will think that the hero is the main villain. A movie worth watching in the hall.

He is the mega star of Bangladesh. Rafi has exactly used mr sakib very finely. Toofan is pure story based gang leader movie which has very nice plot. All the time, you will feel the goosebumps!
We can't express this one review in short. It has made a different record in bangla film industry. Sakib khan's stardom has been nicely expressed. Anyone want to watch a movie that shall make him cheerful toofan is for him.that's alll. This is the best movie in bangla film industry. Sakib khan has been shown as he should be shown!

Honest review of toofan

I saw Shakib Khan in a different way in this movie. He gave the best performance of his life in this movie. His dialogue delivery was amazing. Raihan Rafi has managed to use him very well. When you watch Tufan movie, every moment will pass through your time thrilling and intense.
But Mimi Chakraborty and Nabila didn't have much to do in the movie. Shakib Khan has done the movie alone. The acting of Misha Saudagar, Chanchal Chowdhury and Shahiduzzaman Selim as supporting cast was top class. Moreover Ghazi Rakayet and Salahuddin Lovelu are also used very well.
There are some unreleased songs from the movie, hope you like them.

Ashok Galla 2 Glimpse: Action-packed

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla teamed up with director Arjun Jandyala of Guna 369 fame for a family and action entertainer with a novel story. The makers wishing Ashok on his birthday came up with a special glimpse.
Ashok Galla is seen taking on goons in the glimpse where he appears in a rustic and rugged look with a thick mustache and curly hair. Built a chiseled physique, Ashok Galla seems to be playing an action-packed role in the movie. Arjun Jandyala is a protégé of Boyapati Sreenu and we can see the mass director’s kind of taking in the action episode.

S Balakrishna is producing the movie on Lalithambika Productions banner. Prasanth Varma offered the story, while Burra Sai Madhav penned the dialogues. Bheems Ceciroleo scores the music, while Prasad Murella is the cinematographer.
The regular shoot of #AshokGalla2 began recently in Hyderabad.

REVIEW:International star Jennifer Lopez (The Mother, 2023) embraces the role of a reluctant soldier in the science-fiction action film Atlas, which premiered on Netflix May 24th. And while Ms. Lopez gives it her all to fight for planet Earth, this film seems doomed for obscurity from the beginning.

Set in an ominous future, robots with artificial intelligence have risen up against their masters and killed much of the human race under the leadership of a handsome robot terrorist (Simu Liu, Barbie, 2023). Many years after this robot terrorist escaped Earth, a counter-terrorism analyst finds out where the terrorist is hiding beyond our solar system. So a team of anxious warriors fly in their spaceship to a dangerous planet to capture the bad guy without getting killed themselves.

This film truly goes all in with the sci-fi embellishments, filling the distant planet with a lightning storm, a tornado, a sinkhole, and a snowy glacier. But in order to survive, Jennifer Lopez' stern logical character has to join forces with an artificial intelligence system inside a giant mechanical suit equipped with guns, bombs, and 10-foot-long metal limbs.

Atlas tries to be a treacherous fight for survival and a perceptive social commentary on the dangers of artificial intelligence. But it succeeds at neither because the writing is so vapid, uninteresting, and immature. (Did Jennifer Lopez know a number of the lines she was forced to say in this were horribly lame?) This film packs a wallop of irony being about the growing power of artificial intelligence (or AI), and while I watched it I thought, "Was this screenplay actually written by an AI program with zero oversight from a competent human?"

The screenplay is original with no previous source material, but it's written with so little wisdom, care, thoughtfulness, and believability, I could only think of other sci-fi films that Atlas has shamelessly borrowed from. These other films include Pacific Rim (2013), After Earth (2013), Chappie (2015), and The Creator from last year. The moments of humor are so uninspired, I was predicting what people would say even before they spoke.

These moments go over the top to say, "Isn't it funny how exasperating technology can be?" or "Isn't it special when humans and technology can work in harmony together?" After the film's ending, I'm thinking, "Won't it be great when Jennifer Lopez finds a film written well enough to highlight her talents? It must be out there somewhere!"

Brad Peyton is the director of Atlas, and when I learned what other films he has directed (San Andreas from 2015 and Rampage from 2018) I thought, "Now it makes sense why he created such a banal film with grand special effects. It's his thing!" Ms. Lopez swears a lot in Atlas especially for a PG-13 film, so that surprised me. And her hair looks so wild and has so much volume in this, yet it falls perfectly in every shot, making her look flawless. So at least this clunker has some glamour viewers can enjoy.

Review: The movie starts as a comedy set in a small town called Jagodhar, where a politician Dauji’s (Annu Kapoor) henchman, Gannu (Jitendra Kumar) vows to fast until death to ban alcohol. But here’s the problem – he is himself an alcoholic, and he publicly announces this when he is hungover. The drama unfolds when his protest gains steam and media attention, and he becomes a messiah for the local women who are fed up with their husbands’ alcoholism. The story is about the hurdles he faces, primarily dealing with withdrawal symptoms and resisting taking to the bottle again. He must also contend with Dauji, who owns a local thheka, and his followers Balwant (Shrikant Verma) and Satto (Sunil Palwal) as they try to bring Gannu down.

Written and directed by Saurabh Shukla, the film’s first half deals with Gannu trying to build an image to win the election as a local corporator. His drunken shenanigans and half-witted plans with his stooges, Chainta (Abhishek Srivastava), Kunne (Aditya Sinha), Maddi (Saurabh Nayyar), and Jagat (Padmesh Krishna Tiwari), are entertaining. However, the story and plot take a while to find a firm footing.

Although the narrative deals with alcoholism, it’s understated as a problem, which makes sequences seem abrupt and unconvincing as the story progresses. The narrative has too many tracks and occasionally relies upon tropes and cliches, especially in the climax.

Shukla handles the directorial duties well and mellifluously transforms the film’s tonality from comic to serious. Cinematographer Adri Thakur gets the small-town vibe perfectly and captures it stunningly in top and wide angles.

Jitendra Kumar delivers a strong performance and convinces as both a lout in the first half and a changed man in the second. He is especially good in the scenes where he tries to mend his ways but is unsuccessful owing to his faults and bad habits. Shriya Pilgaonkar, as his wife, Nirmala, performs commendably. The duo has easy on-screen chemistry as husband and wife. Annu Kapoor stands out as the politician, and gets the pretence of being a supportive and loving senior bang-on. Shrikant Verma deserves mention as the cunning liquor shop owner.

While entertaining in parts, the movie could have been more engaging. Nevertheless, it’s a decent one-time watch for the small-town world that’s created and for its quirky feel.

Started with typical horror cringe beginning ended up being a masterful story telling of the flaws of Chinese feudal society that led to a family tragedy and the aftermath. Even as a horror fan, I was about to stop watching it for like half an hour everything felt so out place, plot seemed to be getting side tracked meaninglessly glad i didn' actually stop once you go through first half the later part would stitch these all together and you would love it. All in all very cleverly made, good acting, soundtrack i mean everything is relatively fine in "Chinese standard". A Good "horror" movie to watch.
